Mood of the Nation

MATERIALS:  Unfired clay, photocopier, 20,000 copies of 6 'found' national surveys on religion, work and values.

A copy machine serves as the pedestal for several national surveys typed unto unfired clay slabs. At one end you find the clay slabs, the originals, and at the other end you find thousands of paper copies of the surveys. At either end you encounter the empty spaces in the surveys' questions. You may fill them out with pen or in your head. Either way, they are waiting for your answers. Your opinion averaged out with that of others reveals our opinion.
