These are a counter part to the admission ticket of the stadium or other forms of assembly. In these large groups where we are reduced, at best, to our seat assignment, at worse to a general admission ticket. We have no names, in sharp contrast to the speakers, the players, or the performers we came together for. The standardized nametag offers a different way of registering identity within a group.
