MATERIALS:  Prompter box, theatrical foot lights, hole, play fragment.


    A theatrical prompter's box is installed in the exhibition space. The lights are on. The space for the prompter is ready. The stage is set. However there is no performance. No one is in position at the prompter's box to silently mouth the words to the actors on stage.

You are welcome.
This piece is a prologue.
You will hear nothing you have not heard here before.
You will see nothing you have not seen here before.
You will see nothing of what you have always seen here.
