MATERIALS: Performative lecture and video animation.
This was a first performed on November 7, 2014. It was transmitted from SOMA in Mexico DF to Caracas, Venezuela for the Seminario Foundation Cisneros titled: ACTS OF LEARNING, or how to sensibly comprehend curiosity, will, and chance. It was delivered live with this animation playing in the background. This version shows the animation dubbed my reading of the text. It lacks, however, the performative aspect of my body behind a lectern, with a laptop, the projection behind me, and the illusion that it is all happening live.
