MATERIALS: Invented gambling and games of chance, wooden tokens, bingo cards, felt game surface, interactive lecture
This participatory lecture combined a how-to explanation of probability; while also exploring the relationship between prediction, futurology, gambling and value. The public was able to place bets on a number of phenomena ranging from the sunrise to a coin toss to the letters of the latest tweet.
