A diverse group of political thinkers, writers, theorists, and activists were invited to deliver speeches on various subjects including local city politics, the war on terror, the art world, and cultural production. Speeches occured throughout each day for a week in an event organized by Creative Time at the Park Avenue Armory. As speakers approached the front of the hall, they were invited to select a podium from an array designed by Paul Ramirez Jonas.
